It's just where it seems to fit best. You can always put it under family and friends I guess?

Ohai. (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showthread.php?t=121078)
Ronnie's decision. (http://www.virtualteen.org/forums/showpost.php?p=1510129&postcount=17)
If anything, I would rather have a locked forum with locked stickies submitted my users and other important information, with provided sources. There is no place in Help and Advice anywhere that would suggest any sort of help with their pregnancy. There is a lot of distress and issues that come along with teen pregnancy and it shouldn't be belittled or looked down upon as a "small problem" because it's a bigger problem than you might think.
Before you start on what this site needs, look at the big picture. And really think. I will admit there are some pretty lame suggestions for this forum, but some like this can actually be considered and I think this one of all might actually happen. It might not or might be an active forum, but having some information for those who are actually enduring this are valid and deserve some help. You guys shouldn't be so quick to lock shit in here because I hate seeing so many locked threads in this section and second of all, don't always be so quick to be nasty to someone's idea or try to be so negative. This is a teen HELP site, not a whocanbeanassholebecauseitssatisfying site. If you don't like what I've said or if you have an issue, then PM me and I'll gladly speak with you.
And after saying no in the past, I see where he is coming from, and completely agree.
It won't be an active forum, but there will be information to help, personal stories, and maybe an occasional question or two.

Yeah, at first I thought it could be a good idea, but firstly, I read Ronnie's response and it makes much more sense, and secondly, there would not be many questions to ask. Most questions would possibly be about mothering or fathering, but we have the internet for looking about that, and I suppose Family & Friends is also part of this anyway.

In recent years, teen pregnancy has drastically increased. This site has pratically nothing to aide or give advice of that.
It isn't just for women too, teen pregnancy effects men as well. I also agree with the OP by saying that girls puberty isn't a good place to discuss that.

It's been discussed more and to the same conclusion: there is simply not the demand for it. Also: http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/health-17190185 that's for the UK at least.

You're welcome to post questions such as that in Family & Friends if you need to, but to be honest I have yet to see one question about teen pregnancy in help and advice in the last 8 months, and I am very active in H&A along with moderating it. Like Jon said, there really isn't a demand for it here. If at some point there is an influx of pregnancy questions I'm sure the site will adapt as it has in the past.

Maybe a closed info forum? A sticky in Family section? Or, even on the sites main page, a little more information could be added. But no, I don't see it as an active forum.

I could see a sticky, but certainly not an open forum.
