I've asked both my parents about buying some foundation. I'm not one to wear makeup and because of my skin colour I have no idea where to even start.

My Mum says she isn't getting me some crappy one from the chemist and wants me to spend 30 odd quid on power or whatever that i'm going to coat my legs in. My Dad on the other hand is very against me wearing any at all and I don't want to draw any more attention to myself than necessary with my parents so I'm on my own here.

I was just wondering is anyone new any good brands of preferably waterproof foundation because it's starting to become warm(ish) and my black jeans and hoodys are getting bad for my eczema also I want to make sure I have something that I can rely on for holidays.
Thanks

I wouldn't do a foundation if I were you. Just a simple concealer. Foundations are harder to work with imo.

If you want some high-quality makeup, go with MAC Studio Finish (best for scars) or Estee Lauder. If you want to stay cheap, go with CoverGirl, Rimmel London, or Almay.

Liquid usually stays on the best and blends easiest.

Okay thank you. Like I said I don't know makeup so I wouldnt know the difference between foundation and concealer but I'll look it up. Thanks again.

Yeah concealer works a lot better and is a lot cheaper, I use rimmel london but it kinda depends on your skin tone and bear in mind that as its getting hotter you might tan or burn.. :/ I usally just wear bracelets or light long sleeved tops in summer. Good luck :)

Foundation is used to even out the skin tone; concealer conceals things you don't want people to see. Like Aubrie said, go with those brands^^^
and good luck :)
