Because i am thinking about getting one but i want to know if its worth it.

Well i am a long-distance runner and i want to train more so that i can get back to where i was before and even better, in speed that is, and i am just wondering if i should get the Fuelband or just get a Nike+ thing with my iPhone

Fuelbands were a limited edition.
Nike make a similar item, I can't remember what it's called exactly.
I love my fuelband, but unless you do a lot of running with money to burn, buy an armband holder for your iPhone/iPod and use Nike+ GPS. I'll occasionally use that over my fuelband when I'm just casually running, and it's great
