So I asked what you all thought about my last thread. Here's a new one. Now that I have met Johnnie and know he's really cool, would you continue to let him know you like him and get closer to him? Let me know if you've gone through something similar.

I've had this before let's call him Parker. I met Parker and within a few days was struck at the heart and wanted to date him instantly. So I got to knowing him better through hanging out with him and friends. I waited about two months before I told him I liked him. He said he liked me a lot too but wanted to hangout alone. So we did about 4 times before I texted him and asked him to my prom. He turned me down and I was crushed.... but to my suprise about two days later I get a text from him saying how stupid he was to turned down a girl like me and asked if I still wanted to take him and I said yes. He asked me out at prom and we've been dating for almost 3 years.

Point is... I say you should go for it! :)

Wow!!! He's amazing! So sweet and caring. I'd never be treated like this by guys my age.

Just be careful and be sure that you know that he wants you and not your body and it should be fine. I've dated men way older than myself, so I've gotten treatment from both kinds of guys.

Make it clear early or else risk losing friendship.

How old are you Sandra? 13 I thought? Anyways in your last post I said its fine to fantasise about older men and it is but considering a relationship with a guy in his mid 20's when you're that young (if you are 13, I could be wrong?) even though he is really sweet and caring isnt right. I'm sorry if this isn't what you wanted to hear :(

I just read both your posts Sandra. Sadly the first time I missed the "mid 20's age" and then read SOAPIE's above. I couldn't agree more with her.

You really need to break things off with him. Tell him why and say if he is interested when your are his age then try again.

Joanne, thanks for looking out...but let me just make out clear. He's not the one interested in me. I'm interested in him. I'm not posting a relationship just want to flirt with him and tease really. Also, there's nothing to break off. Again, thanks for caring and the advice.
