Should I wear boxers under swim shorts?

Going to a pool party next week and I was wondering if I should wear boxers underneath my swim shorts? Also, whenever I see extremely fit guys wearing swim shorts, the shorts seems lower than what I would wear, or what I've seen. Do they wear their shorts lower? Lastly, how long should I wear my swim shorts? (1, 2, 3 inches below belly button)

Oh I forgot. Last question :whoops: when guys who are super fit wear swim shorts low, do they shave their pube hair? Cause it's seems their dicks would almost fall out with how low they wear them lol

I always wear briefs under my swim shorts, because otherwise without them my junk gets outlined by the weight of the water in my shorts. So like everyone can see the outline of it. So yeah...

you shouldn't need anything under cause most swim shorts have a brief type thing built in.

I'm on the swim team and we all wear speedos so that's different I'm still kinda small down there so it doesn't matter but a lot of guys wear a jockstrap under speedos

Try cutting the netting out of the swim shorts, and then wear your boxers. Maybe that would be more comfortable for you. =D

There's really no need to wear boxers under a swimsuit. It might make you look insecure when you change before/after. I don't really know if guys who are fit purposely pull their shorts down, but it wouldn't surprise me if they did. I usually just wear short and stuff right at my waist.

wear compression shorts and put them about an inch above your pubes then you can wear you swim shorts about an inch above your dick. and the best swim shorts to get are board shorts. they look better and are made to wear compression shorts underneath they dont have an inner underwear lining. i have oakley board shorts best swim trunks i've ever bought

not under swimming trunks, but at the beach under board shorts i usually where compression short underneath. they dry really quick and keep everything in place if you are jumping around alot.

Not really. Swim trunks have netting in there o you can go without underwear. Easier and more comfortable that way.

Personally, I don't wear any underwear under my swim trunks or my board shorts. I always cut the net out of mine and always go commando underneath. I never saw any point in wearing boxers or anything under them. It's just an extra amount of clothing and the more clothing you wear, the heavier it all feels when you are wet. So I always go commando underneath. Feels pretty good to let it all hang loose anyways.

My suggestion is to NOT wear boxers underneath. But like I said, it's up to you. If you want to, then go ahead. If not, then don't.

Personally I dont see the point of wearing specifically boxers under a swimsuit. They bunch up, take too long to dry, etc. I always wear compression shorts underneath cause they offer protection (plus they look nice xD).
