How do I hide the scars?

My best friend found out that I cut. She wants to help me get better, and she tries really hard. But honestly, the cutting is the only thing in my life I can control. And I like the pain because I know I control it. She gets upset whenever she sees new cuts and I don't want to hurt her. But I can't stop cutting. How can I hide them so that then I don't hurt her?

It really depends on where you cut.

You can use:
Long sleeve shirts
Heaps of bracelets
Chunky bangles
Bracelets like the "I heart boobies" ones
Makeup/Foundation, however, do not put foundation on fresh cuts!

For places that arnt on your arms, you can cover them up with clothing.

For places where you cant hide with any of the above, use make up.

I know what you mean about the control thing..

It really depends on where you cut. Assuming you cut on your arms, try wearing thick bracelets. Um, heavy make-up maybe. Fish net gloves could work too.

or you could just stop cutting and go to something else thats self harm or just stop self harm all in general
