I am absolutely addicted to Amnesia, I love to play that shit in the dark. So yeah I just wanted to see if anyone else plays it!

God, I can't play it in the dark. I have to crank the brightness too, lol. I'm a wimp. Haven't played in awhile though.

Most people can't play in the dark. It's some freaky shit though.

I have several "Amnesia Reactions" videos, the game is excellent.

There are only like 15 zombies and those two invisible water monsters in the game but every second you feel more afraid and you just wish that there was a command to commit suicide and well end all this.

Well, if I were Daniel I'd simply break my own neck and commit suicide.

I loved it. I played it in like one or two sittings though. I had to use a friend's computer because I have an Intel HD Graphics card and Amnesia runs OpenGL.

Of course with the stereo up, at like 9:00pm in the dark in my friend's basement.

Believe it or not, Penumbra affects me more, but I like Amnesia better. Penumbra I actually have to take breaks that last weeks at a time. I say "Okay, I'm done, no more of this..." only to play it again once I've recuperated.

I want to try FEAR but I know I'll never sleep again if I do.

I've also played FEAR.

In FEAR you feel more secure because you have a rifle and the enemies are usually those soldiers. In Amnesia, you are unarmed and the one and only thing you can do against the zombies is to hide in a closet.

Yep, that's why a lot of people find it a lot more scary due to the lack of 'safety'.

Yeah I currently just took the elevator down recently and got to some part where that freakin zombie scares the shit outta me... I get very zoned into games when I play them (for certain reasons haha) and this one makes me feel like I'm Daniel.... Especially when I play for long periods at a time

Haven't tried penumbra yet, maybe once I finish amnesia

I always preach to people that Amnesia is simply one of the greatest triumphs of game production ever, especially coming from such a small, more "indy" game studio. I usually hate horror because I get scared, but there was just something about Amnesia that was too tantalizing and too hard to stop... even though it's got to be one of the most scary things I've ever played.

In short, I played Amnesia and loved it, even though it scared the shit out of me. Possibly the best story-driven game ever produced.

Yeah I downloaded it on steam sometime last year. Easily one of the best and most immersive survival horrors. I don't get scared easily, but this is an exception. I only like playing it when the house is quiet and dark, preferably night.

I personally haven't played it, but my friend is addicted. He even went the extra mile and set his iPhone lock screen background to the Amnesia logo... A bit overkill, I think.

I love to build a barricade in the storage and throw stuff at the monster. I really shouldn't; all he wants is to hug me. He just has a violent way of showing it. Plus, he's got a slamming ass.

I bought it today for £3 on the Mac App Store, it's 75% off, that's good because I'm cheap ;)

I've played it for about 45 minutes in the dark and got kind of creeped out by a few things. I'll be playing it again later though..
