You can't just not get "the itch", but you can reduce it, by applying talcolm/baby powder to it. And you want to shave your balls only? You should cut them, it's a bit hard to shave them with a razor.

Agreed, if you're worried about the itchiness you should try trimming because it's unavoidable. Just be careful, don't want to hurt yourself down there by mistake.

Honestly, just trimming is better. You don't get the itch, and you don't look like a little boy when you're finished, haha. Just use some scissors and trim up the excess!

If you use Scissors be EXTREMELY CAREFUL!! I shaved WAAAAAY back in the 7th grade (with a razor) for fun and it took a while! I did itch a little once the hairs started to grow back but nothing major! =) either way be careful!

Shave downwards for goodness sake. My friend got the red sea for shaving up. You dont want that (extremely itchy and looks like herps!)

There is a best way to do it in order to avoid irritation and such, and if I can recall the method correctly it should be as follows;
A) Wet the area with warm water first, so as to soften the skin and open the pores, so this is best done in the shower or something.
B) Lather some sort of shaving creme. If you don't have one, then regular soap works too.
C) For the first pass, go with the grain. If the hair points down, then shave downward. In each area, stretch the skin in order to achieve as much of a flat surface as possible.
D) When shaving, remember to only press down lightly on the razor, as this will reduce the chances of son-of-a-bitch-fuck-dammit-ow-my-balls-are-a-river-of-blood.
E) Seeing as you have probably gotten rid of the lather the first time, lather 'er up again.
F) When you are done with the first pass [assuming you get there without tripping on the hurdle mentioned above xD], then do a second one, this time against the grain. This will kill off the stubble.
If you DO decide to this, girls who see you will probably consider you "cute" and guys will probably consider you "a pussy." I would personally advise against doing this for two reasons. The first reason would be; "What if a future mate of yours likes a large bush?" Then you lose that favor. Reason number 2 would be that it requires constant upkeep in order to not become a debilitating annoyance. Pubes grow quickly when shaved, and it will get more than just itchy if let be. It may get chafey. Whatever you decide to do, do it carefully! I can tell you from experience that water on a razor cut will BURN LIKE HELL. So be careful!

Shaving? You don't. Trimming is the way to go on this one.

Trim, like everyone has said previous to my entry! You still have some hair and you can control how much hair you keep and take away. Plus if you like it better a little loger it wont take a while to grow back....I shaved my ass and gooch once, worst descicion of my life! I couldnt sit, standm or lay down with out being prickled and scratched by the hairs, took about 3 weeks for it to get to a good enough length that all of the itching and scratching stopped! So just trim, its easier
