My friend is confusing me

Well he acted like he liked me, But today i told him that my mum wants to move to Cornwall making it VERY hard for me to ever see him again and i was saying how like i am crying from the thought of not being able to see him again and my other friend or still could but hardly but all he said back was, "You should stay other there with your family" And "Just go with them" And stuff like he did not care about how we would talk from then on.
So like was he jsut toying with me this whole time or what? This has got me so sad that i am so stressed and sad from the thought of leaving him as i love him and he is my source of happyness and he has been acting like he feels the same but now he does not care.

He may have just not known how to react, and just kind of lashed out. He may have just not known what to do, ya know?

well maybe he played with you, maybe he was just shocked. anyway there's nothing you should do in ,y opinion

I think he may have just not known what to think or do. Either he couldn't fully understand what you were saying, or just didn't want to look upset infront of you.
I don't think he was just messing with you the whole time; not if you two both liked being around each other.
He may try to talk to you about it, maybe not, but I wouldn't push it.
I think he just wanted to act like he wasn't upset, so you wouldn't feel guilty about having to move.
