Parkour?

I was wondering if anyone else has tried it.
Me and my friends have been working on upper body strength, core and technique for it and last weekend we tried it for the first time, and it was freaking amazing. We did a lot better than we thought we would.
We pissed off a few old people, but no harm was done to anyone.

Anyone else tried it?

I found a gym in the city near where I live that teaches it, so I'm gonna check out the classes there. Looks like tons of fun

That's really cool. Do you practice at a compound or something?
There's a compound about half an hour away from me that me and my mates were thinking of starting at.
What sort of training did you do to get to roof jumping?
Also do you wear special foot wear?
Me and my friends wear Nikes which do fine but if there's something better I'd get it :)

i taught myself, started out as a hobby, now its a talent. to get to roof jumping, i basically conquered my fear of heights by climbing up and down tall buildings, now i go to the top, and jump to the next one. lol:-) i personally wear martial arts shoes, and always a good pair of gloves!

Ah gawd lucky people ive always wanted to try parkour, but i can only jump over a table xD Im scared that ill trip and land on my face :P
