Feeling the music.

Can anybody else feel the music they're listening to or just get lost in it and blank everything else out? It happens to me a lot.

Well, of course. The music I listen to usually reflects my state of mind, so the songs I enjoy are more than just catchy chord progressions to me. They provide the opportunity to either become immersed and lost, or snap back into sanity.

Music is a lot more than the catchy tunes you hear on the radio, there is music that I listen to that grabs me like no other and draws me directly into the song. And as LitiumAneurysm said, there is also music which keeps my mind at peace and settles me back into reality. Music is a very expressive art form, it's meant to be felt.

Music is very tangible to me, I immerse myself in it and let it become part of me. Music has become such a huge part of my life, I live and breath it each day, without music I would be nothing...it is my escape from everything, it is my safe haven and my home away from home.

I make music, listen to music, and think musically allll day son. It's my life and I like all kinds whether I wanna just hear a catchy song or whether I wanna hear something deep and meaningful. Either way it's a work of art and you have to appreciate it because someone made it out of their mind.

With that said, I like music that has meaning to it the most, a song that sends a message and mood whether it has words in it or it being an electronic song. Music = life to me

But yeah if im not going anything and im listening to music i get lost. I can sit there for hours and listen to music. It never gets old for me. Music Basically runs my life.

When I get lost in music, I can just lay or sit there and I can actually feel it pulsing through me. It feels like the drums are being played on my ribs, the bass is pounding in time to my heart and the guitar is simply my intestons being twisted in glorious ways. It feels like the music plays inside of me. It sounds crazy. Absolutly crazy.
