Do girls really think guys are that oblivious?

so i was in the school canteen with my friend, a girl mind you. we'll call her nicole, when another girl, called jessica comes up and they start talking, saying things like 'so do you think *jessica subtley looks at me* and 'her' (refering to sharna, the girl im into) are gonna?" and stuff like that. they talk for a few more seconds before jessica asks "do you think sharna is hot?"
i replied i think she is cute and pretty. jessica leaves and i ask nicole what was that about. she said nothing and dropped the subject.

i didnt say anything then but i knew what they were talking about: if i liked sharna or not (i forgot to mention im doing the deb with sharna). i mean c'mon, give me some credit, im not that oblivious. i got what they were talking about

so girls, do you think that guys are oblivious? atleast to the point where you can talk about them, infront of them without them realising?

Hahaha that's hilarious no offense or anything. Some girls can be so damn stupid to be honest so I wouldn't be suprised if they thought you had no clue but it's unfortunatle really because they think you're that dumb and then go making fools of themselves.
It's either that or they actually want you to recognise them and thats why they do it. I've seen that happen quite a few times but I wouldn't worry just ignore them and let tehm get on with their gossiping and old lady chit chat stuff.

Like Nikki said, some girls are in fact oblivious to the fact that you're not stupid. Admittedly though, some boys have gained a reputation for being a bit thick, just because girls try to be subtle and then those boys don't get it at all. The problem is that some people turn that into a generalization: "all guys are completely oblivious," "all guys are perpetually horny and will indiscriminately have sex with anyone who shows the slightest interest," "all guys like drinking beer and looking like the idiots they are."
I'm not a guy, but it gets on my nerves too.
