That's not what I'm saying, but most of the electro that is out lately has been that hardstyle type bass and trancy melodies. I like ALL types of music by the way, especially electronic. I like moombah, dubstep, trance, house, hardstyle, ambient, drum and bass, you name it I like it, but at the same time I like rock, hip hop, r&b, even classical.

EDIT: Actually, I just actually read what you said in this first quote, and if you read what you quoted me on, I said the exact OPPOSITE of what you were thinking. I said there's no way that there's no electronic music you don't like........

Double edit: I did look through your music guide a little bit just now and saw your electronic thread. OK? I never even said that dubstep is THE electronic. It does look that way now that I re read that, but I am the LAST person to think that, I don't even like dubstep that much mostly drum and bass, ambient, and trance. That's like saying I could make a little silly ambient song by taking some frogs ribbiting and then adding a kick, clap, kick, clap, kick, clap drum beat to it. Have you even MADE music with your computer before? Its pretty hard to just use a simple app like that one you linked to make an actual good song. Even though you told me you don't care, I'll tell you anyway that I have a MIDI, MPC, a GOOD software (not Fruity Loops), and a synth. I'm not really one to talk to about how easy it is to make electronic music since it's my favorite thing to do and appreciate the hell out of any type of music.

And by now you should know that I'm not a very literal person, but yes, AROUND 2 out of 10 people I know would say that.

As far as Skrillex goes, yes I enjoy the same very similar music, it is catchy and a lot of other people like it too. Not to mention the bass in a lot of it is incredible (especially through speakers like mine)

I sure do think there is a lot of better music out there, but there are some times when I want to hear robot sex, Skrillex satisfies me...

btw, if you listen to dubstep of any kind "quietly," you're wrong.

I like Bangarang because it's fun, but Skrillex is singlehandedly killing Dubstep. Dubstep is not crazyass synths and "sick drops." I define it as 140 bpm kick-snare beat with a sub-bass. If you're into the bass drops, check out Feed Me. He is more aggressive, and more true to his genre. Please don't listen through iPod speakers.

That is a very good question. Probably because it has KoRn in it. The Dubstep is kind of adds rhythm rather than being the main focus. The lyrics are brilliant and it has metal elements in it as-well as the wubwub.

If you take the travel down the older english dubstep scene, also some reggae inspired dubstep, you'll find much more interesting music. He doesn't make things up in hes head, he probably just binds all the functions on the programs he used to make it to each key and sneezes or facerolls his keyboard, Skrillex has no technique or rhythm quite simply. i love electro music but so much dubstep and specifically Skrillex is absolute shit.

And as for talented, i cant think of electro music producers as immensely talented as they can sit at a computer of hours and edit and retweak using computer software, their stage performances consist of pressing play and then crowd surfing for an hour- not really a talent.
