I've had my laptop for a little over a year now and i need to know if I need to upgrade or if i should upgrade soon.

Laptop:HP G72
OS: Utubu Build 0005
CPU: Pentium(R) Dual-Core CPU T4500 @ 2.30GHz × 2
Graphics: Mobile Intel® GM45 Express Chipset
Memory: 2.9 GB
Hardrive: ATM Samsung HM321HI
Hardrive mem: 320GB
Motherboard: Intel Corporation 82801I (ICH9 Family)

You shouldn't base the need to upgrade off of the specs/hardware it has.
If it can do everything you want it to do, then it's not time for an upgrade.

You only should think about upgrading if what you're using isn't able to do what you want, or it isn't doing it fast enough.

This. My computer can't run games I own all too well, but to my parents that's not enough to get a new family computer or upgrade it. All they want to do on it is use AOL, and because it does that perfectly, they see no need.

If it does everything you want/need, then there is no reason to upgrade.

As many have said does it meet your needs.If u have more than 3 things u cant do but want to consider it simple as that.
