Hey its better than them coming out with some new crappy pokedex and stuff, this is new for them it might be a good expansion. I'm quite looking forward to it, i hope they add a few more features in though like going back to past areas like Kanto and Johto and places.

I haven't played the original Black & White yet, but I plan on getting my hands on one or both soon. Before I get Black/White 2 though, I'm definitely going to get the rest of the Pokemon games I'm missing.

Why version 2? Where's gray? This lack of consistency is confusing!

I would have really liked a great remake of a classic.

I don't even really care as long as they bring back the SoulSilver feature with pokémon following you. I fucking loved that. And my only idea for why they didn't add it with B&W is because they were too lazy to add the 648 sprites. :P
I don't think pokémon is all about battling. < roleplayer
But really. What I'd love to see is maybe some emphasis on other paths of raising pokémon. It's always become the pokémon master, laadeedah. I'd love to breed pokémon but unless you're trying to get all the Eevee evolutions or something like that there really is no point. The only time you really need to breed them is if you compete against other people. I'd also love to see some more end-game content. The goal is always to become the master, but what do you do as a master? Why does it have to end there?
Branching off the first point, I'd love more realism. I mean, as far as the anime goes. Like. Pokémon food and the animations still. As far as DS games, they're still pretty far behind in graphics, I'd at least love some more pokémon animations, like Tackle still needs work (the pokémon should hit the other, right? or am I crazy? I don't get how you can tackle the opponent from the other side of the battle ground). Don't get me wrong, I really appreciate the improvements in black and white. I'm just waiting on a new game with the similiar gameplay but with the N64 game-style graphics (or even the newer ones like Colosseum and DX whatever the fuck that one was, I never played it). Maybe I'm just complaining because of how great the graphics were for the Kingdom Hearts DS game (I don't play a lot of DS so I really don't know what you can and can't do as far as graphics on a DS system. I still have the lite I got in 2006)
Ooh. And one megagame would be pretty awesome :D Sort of like Silver and Gold with Kanto and Johto except like all the regions. XD

I'm the exact same. In fact, I hate battling in Pokemon. If I don't have to do the battle, I don't. I rarely battle wild Pokemon unless its to catch them. It annoys me.

I wish they would just take some extra time to make a game with all the regions and pokemon no trading needed and NO wireless needed. (though optional and fun) Nevertheless this looks like something worth a shot.

I'm really scared for them to, but I'd still play it. Because Sapphire was the first pokémon game I ever played. I watched the anime (the original series even, I own two of the VHS episodes plus the first film :P) and collected cards before, but Sapphire was the first. I have these fond memories of staying up all night even on school nights playing the game. I'd just be scared because that game really had a nice feeling that's very nostalgic for me now, I'd hate to see it lack whatever it was that made it so lovely for me.

i like black and white and i like that they're shaking things up. it is supposed to be a new adventure. personally i hope its a new region with pokemon from every oher region in it (not all, just enough to make a pokedex, like 150-250) but with a new story and gyms etc.
and i'd love a ruby and sapphire remake, i like re-living the adventure, with new graphics and features and remixed music. even the little things, it what i apreciate most. and post game when you fing new pokemon in previous areas, like with the pokeradar in DPPt, i loved that. plus diving! i loved diving!

Would prefer that remake of R/S/E but I suppose this will have to do.

Personally, I felt that the story line of B/W original was kind of weak compared to Gen 4. I mean, cmon, crazy guy trying to create a new universe versus a brain-washed guy wanting to free all Pokemon? Seriously, how are you going to top Gen 4? They better amp it up when it comes to the second set of Gen 5. Finally, I think they need to make an epic remake of Yellow. Only the original 151 WITH the Mew glitch. Give the old gamers a dose of the past, you know?
