Hey,

Just seeing if anyone else is into it.

A couple of questions:

What gear do you use (boat, board/skis, rope, whatever)?
Know any tricks?

My answers:

What gear do you use? Waiting for our new boat to be finished (hopefully taking delivery before Easter), My family use either a Hyperlite JD handle or a LiquidForce Harley Pro, two Hyperlite boards (Marek Nova with Focus bindings and a State with Remix bindings) and generally use little ballast.

Tricks: Whatever I feel like doing haha :) My favorites being the classic surf carve (duh) and Butterslide 180, toe and heel progressive edges basic stuff, heel side up to 360, working on the Scarecrow atm... Eating a lot of water.

So thanks :)

Love waterskiing and just started wake boarding last summer. Pretty good on one ski, can jump the wake most times, carve good turns that make a nice wall of water.

As for wake boarding...
Ive got the eating a lot of water part perfected. It took me a waaaaay too many times to learn how to get up. It's so not like gettin' up on one ski. My buddies seem to know what their doin' and know some tricks, but don't know what they are called. Last summer I eventually could jump the wake, do a 360 and started to wrap myself in the rope to go around twice in mid air, but couldn't land it. If not for the vest, I'd have some good rope burn. My favorite thing is when I'm done, I go for some big air with a spin or attempt to do a flip. Kinda teaks my knees a bit.

I don't own any gear, just use my friends and their neighbors up at lake lanier.

Cant wait for it to warm up.
