i dont have a diagnosed eating disorder but my (now ex) best friend has decided to tell my boyfriend that i have got one. and i have no idea who else she has told and i dont know what i am supposed to do about it. weve argued about it but im not getting through to her at all. and i dont know how im supposed to get it out of her head. plus she knows nothing about eating disorders and is just kind of making it up as she goes along.

anyone been in a similar situation?

I used to be the one on the other end of your situation.. and hun its not easy to get through to someone that has made up their mind about something.. expecially if its something like eating disorters.. all i can say is research all you can about the side affects print it out and show your friend.. pictures of really nasty ulcers usually helps... ulcers are highly painful trust me i have alot of them in my stomach and esophagus... i dont have insurance either so i have to deal with it... hope i helped....
