Since this is in the Eating Disorders section, I'm assuming you meant to take this as an option. If I'm wrong, please reply.
An eating disorder certainly will not help you. They look like something you can just get over, but it truly in so much more complicated than that, and can ruin your life as a teenager. Ask anyone here who is recovering/has recovered from and ED, and they'll tell you what it did to them. There are much better ways to lose weight if you are truly concerned.
Just try and set boundaries for yourself. Think about what you are doing, and the effect it will cause. Obviously, try to eat healthy and exercise more as well. These are just basic things, but they will do so much more for you than an ED if you try hard enough.

-hugs- distracting yourself with other things and self control helps a lot. So can therapy if it gets really serious. Try picking up a sport after school so you are not at home to be tempted?

Gum wont help, it releases acid into the stomach or something because it thinks you are about to eat but you're not. I think that's it, im not to sure but a diet of Gum and Water really isn't healthy.
Just eat healthily, as long as you are eating a good, balanced diet then it's fine. It's no good going on a stupid diet like gum and passing out the next day from lack of food. Don't starve yourself it wont help anything.

For me, what's helped the most with controlling my eating habits is planning my meals. Plan your meals for the next day, for breakfast, lunch and dinner, and a few snacks in between. Make sure you stick to it. I know that habits are hard to break, so why don't you try and plan your meals/snacks around the times when you'd normally eat anyway? That way it won't seem to out of the ordinary.

Distract yourself with something else, a hobby. But go to a doctor, they will give you better tips.
