Make sure you use protection, not just condoms, get yourself on the pill, condoms can fail, using both decrease your chances of getting pregnant.

If your very nervous it could be a sign that your not ready to do it yet, dont feel pressured into doing anything, this should be a wonderful experience for both you and her and i hope it is if you go through with it

If you love each other then just go for it. If he is worried about hurting you, have him lay down on his back and you can ease yourself down onto him. That way it is YOU controlling the pace so you can go at your own speed. My ex and I did it this way for her first time and she didn't hurt at all. And congrats on it! Happy sexing lol.
