1. Because people will abuse it and change their name 24/7, lol. Which gets annoying, stupid, and confusing. One should choose a uesername carefully when they pick it.

2. Once you get 2500 posts you can change your user title.

3. There's no point really, it's just there.

About your fourth question, you would delete what you don't wan't to show up and you would leave what you do.

1. Click the "Quote" Button
2. Delete what you don't want. (DO NOT delete the tags, you'll need those for the quote look.
3. Copy what is left.
4. Paste it wherever you'd like.

Many people also choose to just change the colour of the text, or bolden the text letter if they want to highlight a paticular area of someones post.
