how long should i leave it before asking a girl out after her break up (bearing in ming that her old bf dumped her yesterday and now she out with some other dude (it wont last) so i was just wondering

You don't want to wait on it forever, but you should give her a little time to get over it at least. It depends how bad the break up was and how affected by it she is.
