I'm not sure what it could be but if you're going to the optometrist (eye doc) anytime soon definitely tell him. If not, tell your parents and you may have to go to the eye doctor. Could be a sinus infection or just stress related. Hard to tell.

Bud if it is a sinus infection he needs to see his GP, General Practitioner, an Optometrist isn't going to do shit for him if it is...
Sounds to me like it might be seasonal allergies or a sinus infection, it could be a few things, I would suggest some ibuprofen or tylenol, dosage should be in according to what is listed on the bottle, nothing more, tylenol can damage the liver if you take too much...
If symptoms persist I would call your GP and see if you can get in and get seen.

It could be a number of things, I have chronic sinusitis with no allergies and have recently found out that all my pain is likely caused by my orthodontist's mucking fuddle of a job on my teeth. Acid reflux can also be the culprit, irritating the mucous membrane and creating inflammation. Do you have post nasal drip or mucous in your throat?

Is sinus inflammation a typical symptom when your allergies are most noticable or is it new? Try a nasal corticosteroid for a bit and see if it makes a difference.
