Two things that should be added!

One is there should be an app (For blackberry, Android, apple, etc) for the sight OR a better/easier to use mobile site.
The other thing is, you should make a thing where people can put in the town/zip code and see other members in that town or the surrounding area(s). They wouldn't have to put there exact address, just the town they live in and/or zip code.
Example) Instead of putting 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue, NW, they could just put Washington, DC, 20500

1. There is an app, its called Tapatalk, and its available for iOS and Android, $2.99 for iOS, I don't know about Android.

2. The second suggestion is absolutely not going to happen. VT is not a social networking site; it's a teen help site. The last thing needed is for people to be able to get a rough estimate where you live, and do things they shouldn't be doing. (I don't think I need to elaborate there).

Just keep this thought in mind as well, you never can 100% know who you are speaking with unless you've met in person; and that may not be something you'd want to do.

(Also as an FYI, if you put that kind of information anywhere, you will be warned by a mod, and if repeated, infracted for the sake of privacy).

The thing with zip codes is if it gets into the wrong hands it can be fairly easy to locate your actual address, its not that difficult. There is no reason for that to be added here, this is a help site not a social networking site or a place to meet people in your area. It can be incredibly dangerous and going on the sensitiveness of this site and the fact most of our members are young and extremely vulnerable something like that would not be used for good on here.

For the first bit: Tapatalk already exists for Apple products and there is a mobile theme you can enable on the site which works very well on my Blackberry. Someone would have to make this application and who honestly has the time for that?

Second bit: not a chance. This site is a help site, not a social network, and a lot of people come here with very sensitive topics. This would violate their privacy if they wish to be anonymous. Not to mention, putting in a zip code (or postal code for me) may as well be giving your address out and that will never, ever happen. We already have a thing for "location" which can be as broad or specific as someone wishes but common sense should tell you that putting your specific location on a public forum is a bad idea. We're not here so you can meet others in your area.

Well, the only app I know of is Tapatalk that can view the forums on mobile, and with your zip code suggestion, I think that as mentioned above, it could be misused, such as people finding out where you live or close to, but you could use the Location box in your profile description

Just to add on, this isn't a social networking site either, although some treat it as if it were. Virtual Teen is a help site, not somewhere for you to find people in your area. Doing so could lead to some pretty dangerous situations and bad results, and Virtual Teen will have no part in being responsible for that.
