I'm buying a Dell XPS 8300 with intel core i7. Hard drive is 1TB. 12GBs of RAM, dual channel 1333MHz. AMD Radeon HD 6770 (debating whether I should spend an extra $110 on the Single AMD Radeon HD 6870). Soundblaster X-Fi Xtreme Audio.
All this along with a few other things like a moniter and speakers for about $1300. Good deal?

Why yes, that does look like a pretty sweet deal man.
When you say debating on getting the single HD 6870, are you meaning there's 2 6770s in Crossfire? Or is it a single 6770 vs a single 6870? If it's single card vs single card, get the 6870. If it's the dual 6770s in crossfire get that.
Unless of course you plan on getting dual monitors, then get the 6870 regardless, since Crossfire doesn't work with dual monitors.

I plan on only getting one monitor. It says the 6770 is Dual DVI, the 6870 doesn't say anything about it. Usually when you hover over it shows things about it, but it doesn't for that for the 6870 for some reason.
The 6870 full name is, "Single AMD Radeon HD 6870" Doesn't say anything more. So I suppose the 6870 is the superior choice?

Ah. Dual DVI just means there's 2 DVI connectors on the single card. Most video cards come with Dual-DVI connectors now anyway. If you can afford it, yes, go with the 6870, as it is the superior choice.

I'm not really great at knowing the specs of CPUs so i can't help on that but it sounds like a really good deal. But if your not going to be using your old computer can i have it? lol i'm just kidding, but still good deal on that.
