I am not sure if this is possible but I will ask anyway.

I want to copy a program over to a disk.

This is so I can use the program at school as I am doing a powerpoint on the latest office version and my school have not upgraded and I will be working on it at school. So how do I copy the program so that I can open it and continue my work at school.

It's certainly not possible with M$ Office. Microsoft has made sure of that ;)

What you need to do is when you go to "Save As" you need to save it as an older version, i would suggest "Word 03" just to be safe, I had to do the same thing for the same reason.

Just save it that way, attach it to an eMail and send it or put it on a flash drive..

Microsoft, as Thomas said, definitely has made sure this is not possible. Instead, try saving it as a 2003-2007 PPT file, that should let it open.

I know thats what I normally do :) save it as a younger version or in comp mode so it will open with older versions such as 2003.

The only reason why I was asking was simply so I could use all the newer functions.
