You know, if you think about it, a "Mac" is technically a PC, since PC stands for Personal Computer. A "Mac" is usually a personal computer, so you would answer "PC" either way. But "PC" has since evolved to mean "Windows computer". :P
So, I guess my answer is PC.

I have a Mac, and like it, but I do find it quite restrictive.

I grew up with windows, therefore it's what I use. Plus most schools can't afford a couple hundred mac computers so they just stick to the cheaper windows and therefore it's what most of us learn how to use. Honestly though the hardware in macs is pretty sweet.

Oh, you'd be amazed. MacOS is actually quite popular -- too popular for my taste -- in schools.

Bud, my school is one of the poorest in the county yet we had MacBook Pros, I graduated about 300 in my class and I believe currently each high school student received a MacBook Pro and right now at any given moment there is about 1,200 students in my high school...

I love my wretched vista, and you know what I run my wretched vista on, a wretched PC. Using this pain in the ass has taught me more about computers than I would ever have dreamed it would.

The Mac.
I've not had a single issue with it, usually I would've had to format a Windows computer many times by now or put up with it's slowness, but the Mac is still lightning fast and never needed formatting.
My old Windows PC was a higher spec that my Mac but was always slower than my Mac is now.

I might like Macs if only I could afford one. They are like 2-5x as expensive as a lot of laptops and computers. I never do anything but go on the internet and type papers, I don't need a quad-core, 1 terabyte computer like i am sure some people have.

I prefer Windows much more than any other competing OS, it does everything I want with ease.

I have had mac for going on 3 years and it's still the fastest computer ever. No delays and you don't need any virus protection for it.

Okay, I voted PC, but I feel like I need to elaborate a little.
Mac and PC both have their selling points, and that's why both of them do so well. Apple produces a variety of products, most of which are the leading device in their respective fields. The iPod is the leading music player, the iPhone is the leading phone, and the MacBook/iMac are the [second] leading personal computers. I feel like Mac is more aesthetically pleasing, filled with eye-candy. But in reality, the productivity is not there. You get the forsaken beach ball of doom, and there goes four hours of working on your report. I am NOT trying to say that PC doesn't crash, but it at least attempts to use some sort of fail safe, like AutoRecovery in Microsoft word. The PC also is the ideal gaming console, as it is heavily moddable and as such will be widely used by members of the gaming community. Some even prefer the keyboard and mouse gaming experience. For Mac, it is a less productive machine in a pretty package. Are you really willing to sacrifice functionality for aesthetics? I know I wouldn't.
Phew, that was long.

Pc's are better for gaming. Mac's are better for business oriented stuff. that's my opinion.

Afterthought: the whole time I was writing my really long answer above, I was imagining checking that box on Wikipedia that says, "I am very knowledgeable in this field.".
Just sharing :)
