What i dont get is how parents make u wait till ur older for stuff but when u get it ur 9 year old brother gets it too!!! My little brother got his first phone when he was 6 because i had just tuned 10 and finally got one!!! (Im 13 now) (cheap prepaid phone)

Haha, same situation here. Although younger siblings often get their stuff 2nd hand, while you get your clothes and accessories new.

So my bro got his cell before I did when I was his age, he just inherited my old one for instance. This depends on how wealthy/strict your parents are I suppose.

Same with the phone and facebook and yeah, it just sucks but sorry, nothing we can do about it. My sister expects new things and money if i get some and urgh, it just isn't fair. Is it just me or do the little ones always seem to be favourited? (yes i know favourited isn't a word, i couldn't think of one).

Maybe try talking to your parents about it? Not that it did much good for me but they might listen?

I think that's stupid. just because you get something doesn't mean your younger sibling should get it too...

I, on the other hand, rarely get anything. My little brother is 11 and he gets almost anything he wants.

You were tough to raise, you wore your parents down. Always happens. You should be happy. You got the proper parenting, and they probably lacked in some places with your brother. In the long run, you'll thank them. Cause in the end, your parents gave you the better foundation to develop yourself.

Where I grew up before I moved, it was completely unheard of to have a cell phone or go out on dates until well into your teen years. Look where we are now. Kids in primary school with boyfriends.

Yeah my youngest bro (2nd youngest) gets new freaking clothes every 2nd weekend and I only get every three to five months :( he gets a freaking nice skateboard about 250 for a bloody 7 year old!! My parents overly treat them with the "best of the best" me and my older bro didn't get much my older bro got a car when he turned 16 (vw golf my06 model) and I'm turned 16 last year and didn't retrieve a motorcycle to learn on...so my brother has a motorcycle that I "was" going to learn on now he owns it and a car WTF!
