Swollen/nipples/man breasts?

I have what feels like a disc or something right beneath my nipples, that hurt if I press on them too hard. Is this normal? I don't want to have man breasts and I am in no way fat (except for maybe my upper thighs a tiny bit :p) I don't know what the heck is up with me. I have had them since late March 2011

this happend to me when i was like 13 or 14 i think it is just part of growing up and puberty it will go away but sincce it has been so long i would see a dr or sumthing

Happened to me when I was 11. I started panicking thinking I had a lump. I did not. still got me scared though at gone midnight.

I was laying on my bed with my arms folded, felt the lump and started searching on the interwebs. But it turned out it was natural, even though I had it early.

This is extremely common for boys to have during puberty. It's caused by an imbalance of testosterone and estrogen, which causes the breasts, yes a boy's breasts, to become stiffer or slightly enlarge. The majority of boys on the earlier side of development experience this, it's nothing to worry about and it the swelling/stiffness will go away in due time. But of course, if anything seems too out of the ordinary, bringing it up to your doctor won't hurt you.

Its normal. It happens to a majority of us and isnt a problem. Dont worry about it, it will go away eventually.

Yeah don't worry about it, I had it when I was 12-13 years old. The mod/s always have a good response to your questions (my opinion). Just chill and take it with the flow.

I started the same way between 12 and 13 I was very skinny then but I still have them and I hate it btw I'm 14 now

Just gone through that. My breast/nipples got swollen and were so tender for a little while it almost hurt to wear a shirt. It didn't seem to last long though, thank god.

This is just another part of puberty, the hormones in your body given from ur parents(dominant alleles) are fighting with the ones made by your body. This can cause inflammation. Dont wirry it will go away soon.
