I only go over my head, feels so much better that way, I don't really even get sexual feeling from just the shaft. I used to require lube to do it, but practice makes perfect, so now I'm able to just go at it. One problem, though, before you all start trying it dry is you have to be careful not to wank too much, or you can chaff your skin, which is no bueno. :D
