If you feel that he has changed and you can still trust him then go for it. If you can't then maybe it's not so much of a great idea. You need to be sure that he won't hurt you again because if there is any chance that you think he might then you're forever going to be checking up on it making sure that it won't happen and your relationship won't go anywhere.
Just do what you feel is right, if when holding his hand you still feel safe then by all means give him another chance. But how about this time you stay in charge a bit make sure he can't get away with breaking you again.

Trust is very important in a relationship but on the other hand you were obviously so hurt because you cared about him so much so maybe theres that chance that things may work out. You really just need to think over what will be best for you in the end.

Love hurts. That's something I've seen enough of being put into action. It won't always be a walk through the meadow you have to work at it but to do that you both need to want the same thing. Communicate more to one another and try to be more open because without that everything will just fall to pieces.
