Well one very nice friend went round and told everyone that my family was scary. This is because my dad had me when he was 16 and my grandad had my dad when he was 16. Now all the boys who I might of had a chance with wont go out with me because they think Ill probably have a kid by the time im 16. *continuing the family tradition* someone said to me the other day.

So what do I do? What can I tell them to convince them I wont get pregnant?

You will use condoms when you discover sex, and or use 2 or 3 forms of birth control. That's what I told my family, and look at me now =] nearly 20 and childless! I am on the birth control shot depo provera it's a dream come true

Maybe try to keep without a boyfriend for a while? Show them you're not just looking for a kid and hopefully this will blow over. Use all the necessary things like condoms and stay on the pill if you're on it. Im afraid that you can't change their mind bit you can try to show them that you are more mature than that and that you dont want to be like your family.

Do they really need to know how old your parents and grandparents were when they had you? If these guys are going to judge you based on something as stupid and irrelevant as that, they're not worth your time anyway.

Well first off, if you still use the word "preggers" you might not be old enough to be having sex. It's pregnant, you will not be getting pregnant at 16.

Second off, you don't have to have sex when you get into a relationship. Especially at 16. I'm sure you are not 16 yet, and have some time before you make it there, but sex is not the basis of a high school sweetheart love affair. If all these boys won't date you because they are scared you will get pregnant, then they are the wrong type of boys anyways. You want someone who is willing to not have sex because they care about you.

It's all sillyness these days with sex.
