This school year I'm wanting to play football for the first time  and I've done P90X 3x and quit in the middle each time. This time I'm feeling very committed to starting. But I was wondering can P90X help someone who is very slow at running and who hasn't been athletic for 5+ years? I am not overweight, but I'm not physically good. I have an alright body, but I cannot run fast or lift a lot, I have very low energy and I'm not good at sports.

you should actually do a full rotation of p90x with and do exactly what they want u to do with nutrition and training and ull see results, itll allow u to become more fit which will help increase ur abilities in other sports but u only get out of it what u put in, if u work like a sissy doing it ur not gonna see much, if u work ur hardest everyday, u will see results

If your going for a totally sculpted body, and amazing arms, and whatever else, then do the p90x. Follow what CanadaRocksEH said (America = better.. (: ). I played football for the first time this year. According to medical whatevers, I believe I am overweight. I'm 14, and weigh 180 (which isn't that bad).. Anyways, I hate running, and I don't work out like, 23 out of 24 hours a day. However, I did perfectly fine with football. In the beginning, the workouts were easy. Almost no pain with anything. But, the workouts were repetitive, so I got used to what I was doing. Which basically made it so I did not have to work as hard.. So, if you can do a workout, and not die, then your going to do fine with football.. Another suggestion: It's not like football is this amazingly physically challenging sport. It can be, but it is what you make of it. Have fun bro!
