So I havent masturbated for 3 years since I found out my religion discourages it, but I keep on having extremely sexual dreams, and even though I know it's wrong I want to have more sexual dreams and this makes me wonder if something is wrong with me?

You can choose not to masturbate but in the end, religious or not, you are a teenager. It is totally normal to have sexual dreams and honestly, mostly outside of your control. There are records of kids having these dreams going back to ancient Egypt. Probably further though I haven't researched this stuff in awhile.

Point is, you are a teenager, you have hormones, you think about sex whether you want to or not. Totally outside your control. And think about it. If God didn't want you to know and think about sex, he would have either made impossible for you to think about it and have sexual dreams, or would have at least given you the choice.

The dreams are normal, especially since you dont masturbate. As a teen the hormones are raging and sex is one of the big things we constantly think about.

compleatly normal happens quite offten and can cause an involuntary ejaculatation as stored seman needs to be realesed and as ur not masturbating it needs another way to be realeased.

he said he deals with it with prayer, I think I'd pray for wet dreams so I don't wack it. However, most guys wack it so they don't have wet dreams. Either way, stuff is flowing.

Stay faithful and keep going to Him for strength. He will take lust out of our hearts so that we will not desire such things. If you have such desires go to Him and say

'Lord I like it, but I know it's wrong, please make me pure.'

or anything along those lines. I believe that if we do not have lust in our hearts, the content of our dreams will be far less explicit. After all, most of the dreams that we have are often related to our thoughts or daily experiences.

Well, there is nothing wrong with you having sexual dreams, because if you aren't having orgasms any other way, you have to have sex dreams because guys eventually have to release some of the semen because once we hit puberty we keep making it the rest of our life, and it has to go somewhere... and yeah, its pretty natural to want more of them, cuz they feel good!! Nothings wrong with you. There is something called Maslow's Hierarchy of needs. Its a pyramid of basic urges and needs in all humans. At the bottom of the pyramid are hunger, thirst, oxygen, sex, etc. And its been theorized that until we fufufil those basic needs, our mind won't let us move on to something else

They're normal, and so is masturbating. I dont know what religion but if its the one with god and jesus then in the bible it was scriptured something along the lines of "no man shall waste his sperm in a time of need and suffering" and im pretty sure right now the world is kind of over-populated...
