Regardless if you are a fan of him, you gotta admit, President Obama is a good speaker. So, what is the best speech he has given (in your opinion?)

If by "good speaker" you mean is able to avoid peeing his pants even though thousands, maybe millions of people are watching him, than yeah I agree he is a pretty good speaker. On the other hand almost everything he says is a crock of bull shit in my opinion. Don't expect too many anti-Obama people to have even listened to even a COUPLE of his speeches. The last couple I watched, I found laughing do to is idiocy.

You have a great point. He can talk like no one's business. I think that when I heard his inarguation speech, that really changed my feelings for him a bit. But, also his Martin Luther King Memorial Speech was pretty decent.

ROMNEY 2012

I watched Romney's speech last night (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=byjErNwBAdU), and it was some of the most inane rhetoric I have ever had the displeasure to listen to. I found it ridiculous that he blamed every single "problem" in this country on one man, and tried to connect all sorts of things to Obama's "failed policies". Newsflash, America: you are not entitled to an eternally stable economy. It is not "Obama's fault" that we're in a "recession". I hate how so many voters in this country act like the executive branch can just fix the economy – that's not how it works. It's all based on cycles. The real problem is when government decides to try and engineer the economy to get it back up and running, wasting unimaginable amounts of money in the process, creating ridiculous amounts of red tape and doing nothing but benefiting corporations that should have failed. Romney is the most crooked of all politicians. He's simply pandering to the gigantic, core Republican base, with his idiotic policy of "small government when it comes to taxes only". Romney is a big-government conservative (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Political_positions_of_Mitt_Romney) who will do absolutely nothing new if elected to office.

As for the topic, I'm not a follower of Obama and I haven't seen many of his speeches. He's a master of rhetoric just like any other politician.

Hmmm good point. Unfortunately our government system is flawed. We end up choosing between a rotten apple and a rotten pie. In the end its just a battle of opinion as to which rotten food tastes better. No one is perfect, everyone has flaws, especially politicians. You're right he was wrong to pin everything on "one man", every president has done something that effects us dozens of years later. My problem with Obama is that he hasn't exactly kept all his promises. Also are you psychic? I am very curious as to how you can tell me what he will do if he is elected into office.

Not really. The only reason political choices are so limited in the United States is that, unlike in other countries such as Canada and Australia, American voters never mobilize behind third parties or independent candidates. There are plenty of options out there, but a large majority of the population has been fooled into defaulting to either the red or blue.

No one is perfect, everyone has flaws, especially politicians. You're right he was wrong to pin everything on "one man", every president has done something that effects us dozens of years later.

I was mainly talking about how it's Congress that should be blamed for causing problems, not Obama, and that the current president is not entirely responsible for the state of the economy. I'd never blame the entire recession on a President, as so many seem content with doing. Slumps happen, and they're the result of both destructive economic engineering done by the government during both Republican and Democratic administrations and natural cycles in the free market.

My problem with Obama is that he hasn't exactly kept all his promises. Also are you psychic? I am very curious as to how you can tell me what he will do if he is elected into office.

Most presidents are consistent with the political views they express while on the campaign trail when acting in office. After all, no politican would want themselves stuck in this type of situation (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Read_my_lips:_no_new_taxes). Romney has consistently shown that he's an establishment Republican, and I honestly believe he will continue the corporation-friendly, bloated government practices that the U.S. has suffered from over the years. Sure, I could be wrong about that, but it's not worth the risk of electing him to office.
