If you mean you believe in no sex before marriage, then its up to you. If you really care about religon and what your parents think, then don't. But nothing bad would happen if you had sex, in terms of your religon.

Protestantism doesn't say you can't have sex, but some faiths say you shouldn't have sex before marriage. It is your choice whether you embrace this ideal or not and honestly, having sex before marriage will not make you not protestant, it's your faith nobody else's.
