I'm probably one of the biggest bully in my grade. It does make me feel better and girls like it when you're not with the losers but when I got here to VT. I've seen some post about people hurting theirselves, now I want to change it. I wanna apologize but it's too hard. This one guy, I wanted to apologize but couldn't have the guts to go do it and stays away from me.( I feel really bad. I guess the question is, how can I apologize to someone that's scared of you/avoiding you?

First, I think you'll get better replies in Family and Friends, so I'm gonna move your thread there.
Second, I think it's great that you want to change. Kudos to you.
Third, I think if the person avoiding/scared of you, you could try leaving him a note, or you could try doing something via email or a facebook message or something. Just don't make attention to it, and make it all public.

Depends on the kind of school you're at. If you have a common lunchroom, then try to find him during lunch and just say some variant of "Hey, I'm sorry about [...], It was stupid." You don't even have to add "Can you forgive me?" or something corny like that. I can guarantee that you will make his day.
It's freaking awesome that you have the balls to change yourself for others. I can tell you that it's not easy to suck up one's pride, but it will always make a sour situation better if you can manage to ignore what others may think of you in order to do the right thing.
Here's the best part: If you apologize to someone, and another kid hears it and makes fun of you for it or something, then you no longer have to be humble about anything. Go ahead and scare him shitless. You apologized for being mean to someone, and so you've done your good deed, and that kid will think you're a pretty awesome person for being able to do that. Some jerk who makes fun of a guy with more guts than he, just to fit in? Ha, pin him to a wall, he's the one being a dick then.

Like the other person said, you could leave a note or something and let them know you're changing.
