Anyone believe in Meatitarianism? :D Basically, you don't eat fruits or veggies, basically everything but. Haha, it's funny because I'll die of a heart attack at 20... heh... :(

I'd love to be one lol...but I know it's unhealthy. I still eat my fruits and veggies, mainly ones I like anyways

That's crazy.
Personally, I believe the only diet we should follow is composed of meats, fish, poultry, vegetables, and some fruit. A proper balance of those is essential to remaining healthy. Exclude any of them and you begin to have problems.

It's a bit easier to remain healthy as a vegetarian than remain healthy as a "meatitarian" however. You can still obtain protein from other sources, and other nutrients like Omega 3, 6, and 9 from fish can be taken through easy to find supplements. You lack quite a bit more if you were to only eat meat.

Of course, but I believe a proper diet is one where additional vitamins or nutrients from pills are not needed since we should be getting everything we need from the food we eat.
Not saying it wrong to not eat meat, I just don't find a diet where supplements must be taken to be a good one.

I'd rather be vegetarian than a meatitarian. (Wouldn't that be carnetarian anyways?)

I have absolutely NO idea... I just kind of made the word up for myself.

Good luck with that. Most people who eat reasonably healthy anyway do not get enough of many nutrients. To truly be healthy, unless you're really careful about getting all the various nutrients, you'd have to take supplements anyway regardless of the food groups you incorporate into your diet.

^ I agree
Yeah, I eat as healthy as possible, but I still take a multivitamin so that I'm not missing anything.

I'd have a burger over a salad any day, but I also have to consider my other food groups so I'm just eating fruits and veggies... well... because I have to lol

I like meat, but for that to be the only part of a diet, is just damaging to one's health and the environment for that matter. There is nothing wrong with fresh fruit and veg.

Can't agree more. I love meat, but still have to eat other things so I don't die from lack of vitamins.
