AIM hates ZoneAlarm

what can i say? everytime i talk to someone online, my internet dies out when i paste or do something funny. it would give me a message saying "cannot read file" and my internet dies. usually my computer lags like crazy and i lose connection to anything that uses the internet.
i managed to get snapshot just before my computer's internet was booted back up. this was not the first time it ever happened, but now its become serious that talking to =0 is near impossible.

the main problem was "VSMON.EXE" application or something

I dont like Zone Alarm any more, it seems to block far too much, i stick to windows firewall now, much easier!

i dont really like zonealarm, it detects nearly anything you do as a threat

actually i dont really use a firewall as i find them to be useless

i use that
i have found how to make it shut up so now it doesnt bother me too much.
and to be honest firewall is not useless. IMO you have to be a damn good internet user to go without it

well i also found another solution. it has to do with the user's "sound" if you have your own custom sound or a provided one on AIM, do not use it is all i can say. if your friend has one and its the one provided by AIM(where you can hear it too when they respond, log in or out) on the user options set Sounds to a AIM receive or Send, or whatever it is to keep it like a normal sound you would hear so it doesn't kill it. and also set IM security off too unless you're talking to a stranger but i pretty much had no use for IM protection.
