Hey my names Daniel and I got a Blackberry for Christmas! so far I LOVE IT! its amazing. And yes Ive had an android and HATED it! I didnt life the solid touch screen and my physical keyboard was slow. The phone froze a lot and was always wanting to update the apps. MY Blackberry is extremely fast, never freezes and always responds to what I want. SO anyone else out there actually have and like their Blackberry smartphone over an android or Iphone? just opinions please NO HATING!! =)

So basically you want only good opinions on blackberrys and you want people yo tell you why they're better than the "crappy" good phones?
Im sorry I just don't see the point in this :/

No! LOL I meant towards me not liking android! I don't care if you hate the phones. Hahaha I just don't to be disliked for my opinion on liking a Blackberry more. :)

Oookay then. In that case I hate blackberrys the only reason people buy them is bbm (well in my school anyway) and I don't see what all the fuss is about to be honest. I have an android (Xperia arc s) and I love it there are like 3 small faults I could make about it and other than that it's great!

This friend made me lol, a lot. From my experience, people usually love android and hate BB, or love BB and hate android. Sounds funny, but it's generally true.

I got a blackberry.. it was amazing.. for the first few days. It always froze on me, and it ALWAYS overheated. We ended taking it to the phone store a billion times in a few month period, and everytime, they had to replace it because it wasn't my fault it overheated. Finally, we convinced the company to give me a droid, and they did. And I was pretty satisfied with it.. for the first six months. Now, the wireless is flakey and the charging port doesn't work. Still, nonetheless, I still love android so much more than blackberry. My friend however is the opposite. She had problems with her droid, got a BB, and it's perfect. I'm gonna get an iphone though, within the next few weeks probably. I've had amazing luck with apple products, and I'm hoping this will be what I need to stop my phone problems.

So yeah. People either love BB and hate android, or love android and hate BB. It's the way life goes. :P

I never had Blackberry because they are not imported in here legally but I wanted it only because of the qwerty keyboard. then I got HTC with Android and full qwerty and I'm totally happy with it.
but actually I don't need much from phone.

Well Htc phones look amazing and tons of fun! =) ive never had one but im sure their fun! I dont really like big square phones like the expensive newer driods. I like simple phones for gaming, texting and calling. I guess that why I love my Blackberry however, Android games and stuff were mostly free when Blackberry you have to pay for almost EVERYTHING and its very expensive looking!!! =)

HTCs are nice. The htc mozart windows phone however, is horrible. I had that phone for almost two years and I can tell you something for nothing. That phone sucks. I managed to pick the one HTC possibly in existance that sucks. The windows marketplace is worse than the bb marketplace (which also sucks :p) and it was unresponsive, the audio was nowhere near as good as advertised the keyboard was miniscule and hard to type and it was an all round horrible phone. Right now I'm using the bb bold and I love it. Bbm is obviously the best feature but aside from temorary freezing (which is understandable considering the amount of things that run in the background. If you don't want it to freeze use the menu and close the apps. Don't just press back or the red phone button) and the not so great marketplace I love this phone. The web browsing is simple. The keyboard is great and I love the layout/setup

Well I always close all the add on running apps to save my battery anyways. and Im only signed into Facebook and Twitter when Im on them. If im not using them I always log out and then close the app. Im guessing thats why I havent experienced the low battery and freezing problems people have been talking about. Yea I LOVE my Blackberry keyboard! the only thing is today somehow my screen got all scratched up! It looks terrible!!! =( SO depressing!! is their some kit or something I can buy or take it somewhere? the are a few minor scratches though. Luckily none of them effect me while having the screen on its just they look bad when the screen is dark.

if its not too bad i would leave it as it is. If its really annoying you could take it to a local marketplace and see if somebody there can fix it, although that might require a new screen being fitted which might be a bit overpriced for a few scratches, but maybe it can be repaired without a screen replacement. Its worth a check, If not your marketplace perhaps just the phone store. However your likely to be charged a stupid amount or forced to wait a ridiculous period of time

Blackberry's are the best!!!!! I'm on my 6th/7th one cause I drop them quite often on the ground/pool. Thank god for insurance <3. They're great phones and the battery lasts forever and they have a QWERTY keyboard, not that touch screen keyboard nonsense.

I love your phone botwa! I think it would be cool if they made a HTC phone like that where the whole bottom part had buttons like Facebook, twitter, youtube etc. =)

Thx for the replies everyone!!!

I'm not hating on you for "hating" Android, but I do hate your reason. You are hating all Android phones for the simple fact you had one that was bad. Well, Android and BB have one thing in common, their an OS that has different models of phones. Your experience with the Android was probably based on a lower end phone and that's why you had problems with it. Androids aren't all made the same, like how iPhones are. You can have multiple types of phones on Android; some good, some bad.

In my experience, I've never seen any reason for a teenager to have/want a BlackBerry. They are very business type phones, with little intent on having kids using them. If you want a great phone aimed towards a more casual/younger audience, an Android or iPhone would be a better call.

Yea I see your point @Aves not all are bad but I have had a lot of friends complain about their droids. But what annoys me is just like you with your androids I have people who say to me " Blackberries are crap my "so and so" had one and they hated it therefore making others just assume all are bad phones. =)
