For English class (9th Grade) we read The Odyssey. For me it was a bore and hard to read but we had to choose our favorite scene and make a project out of it. Alot of kids are gonna act it out but I don't like that. So im going to do a Diarama. But then I'm like wait I'm good at doing stopmotions (take a picture then move the object a little, then speed the clips up after) so why not do one? My mom and dad thought it was a great idea so were going to make the diorama and then take pictures of the figures moving around and stuff. The scene is when the cyclops eat some of the men and the men are living on the island. Heres what I have planned for some set design and how to sorta make.
Im gonna buy certain parts from the Brick a Brick from LEGO (cheap hopefully) and get sand, brush/trees with some being fake from the woods and beach. Were gonna glue the brush and make a cave out of rocks and paper mache... Any suggestions on how i could improve this? It's due in 14 days and I need to get started like tomorrow. The school gave us Friday off for some reason and I then have Saturday and Sunday to work...
