Hi. Is it okay for a 15 year old guy to like guys older than him? Like, up to 19 or 20? My previous bf was 17 but due to the age difference, our parents didnt even like us being friends anymore... Anyway, is it normal to like older guys?

It's normal liking, but if its only 3-5 years difference it's okay to have sex.

Same what John say. A 3 to 5 year gap seems a bit out of the ordinary but it's nothing to freak out about and it's okay. But if you're dating a 25 year old at 15. Then that's way too old.

I think it depends on your age, how big the gap can be. If you are 15 like me, I think anything over 17 would be weird. After 18, I think a 5 year difference is fine, not more than that.

But I would never go out with anyone more than a year older, that's just a preference,

Like they said, 3-5 years isn't that much of a difference, so it's not that big a deal. But a 15 year old and a 19/20 year old are in two different places mentally. So I guess it depends on the individual.

Yeah. Its OK. As long as its not too much older.

GENERALLY,

The social rule is, divide the older person's age by 2, and add 7.

So, for the younger person, subtract 7 and multiply by 2.
