Okay, so I don't have any depression or mental issues as far as I know, but I am pretty devoid of emotion. I absolutely cannot cry, even when it is appropriate.

I'm like you. It has to be close to my heart though. Really close for me to cry. I think it has to do with your tear ducts and how you've dealt with situation throughout life. I might be wrong though.

I can't seem to cry during some situations either. When my grandfather died, everyone was crying around me but I was just sad. I guess some people are just really like that.

I wish i was like you ha ha, I cry over EVERYTHING, My emotions come out like like rivers all at once and they are easy to trigger ha ha, But when you was younger did you hold it all in and get taught crying is bad? That might have something to do with it.

Yeah, I think this sounds familiar. Like you want to cry because it seems appropriate or everyone else is and maybe you even try to force the tears but your body refuses? All I can tell you is that the tears will learn to come. And it won't be every day and it won't be over everything. but for the things closest to your heart like eddy said. For the things that completely blind side you. The tears will come.

Everyone reacts to difficult situations differently. There isn't a right or wrong way to deal with things, so just because you don't cry, it doesn't mean you're dealing with things in the "wrong" way, there's no problem with it at all.

The only thing I would suggest is to make sure you're actually dealing with the situation, and not just ignoring it. Crying is how some people deal with sadness and other emotions, but you need to make sure that they are being dealt with in some way. Whatever works for you.

As long as not crying isn't causing you any problems, then don't think it's wrong.

I have had close family members die, and those losses were met with almost no remorse. I really wonder what's going on, what is causing me to ignore what should hurt. It really never does hurt though.

I'm not someone that shows a lot of emotion either. I do have feelings but I try very hard to keep them buried. Sometimes it just seems easier to avoid feeling anything even if its a heavy drama situation. Don't beat yourself up over it man. Just be watchful if the emotions start coming out in different ways. They might. Good luck bro!

I don't feel much, i'm very shallow which could be credited to my Aggressive Narcissism.

But that's because of previous incidents, the last time i cried was 6 years ago, and i hardly remember it. I can remember 10-20 scenes in my childhood, the rest is blank. I am seriously devoid of my childhood memory. So i have no idea why i'm like this.

I guess i'm just different.

I cry when I am happy and smile when I sad. Worse than showing no feelings at all

Soften your heart and if you want to cry, listen to sad music.
