I know some of you have played the previous Microsoft flight simulators. I have heard bad things about the new one. How bad is it? I go for reality and fun at the same time. Thanks

I have not yet tried Microsoft Flight however I have read reviews and seen users screenshots of the game/simulator and if you are going for reality that is not the way to go. First, Flight allows you to fly in Hawaii only compared to FS9/FSX which has the whole world. Also, Flight has been described to be more like an arcade game than a simulator. The main benefit i see in Flight at the moment compared to FS9/FSX is that it is free. If you don't mind paying i would go for either FS9 or FSX depending on how good of a computer you have.

Y'know what? It's free to play, just get it and see how you like it.

I like it . It's very basic though , you only get two planes and a few missions that are repeated across different airports . Graphics are great though

I downloaded it on Steam since it is F2P. I haven't gotten a chance to play it yet however. My friend said it was pretty fun, so I'll try it out soon.

I have Microsoft Flight Simulator X and it's pretty fun with a joystick. It's really, really realistic. However, it's also prone to crashing, and after flying from Houston to Los Angeles, losing all of your progress right before landing (the most fun part!) is a pain in the ass.

The most I've done is crashing into the ocean XD I lost my FLight simulator X code though. I'll just look for a fix to that though

If you want realism, flight is complete crap, fun-wise it's decent for a little while but it soon becomes boring since there's only two planes to start with (you can buy some more) and I find it way too easy. I much prefer FSX. IMO microsoft flight should be destroyed in the most inhumane way possible (Yes I hate it that much) ;)

It is kind of a fun game, but it didn't impress me. Would still recommend it.
