i am 13 years old and my breasts have already started developing, (although quite slowly), and i have this vaginal discharge i was wondering if its a sign that my period will come soon? please help! :confused::confused::cool:

Um was it blood? Then I would have to say that WAS a period. But yeah, if not your period should come soon; since your breasts are developing (though things always develop at different times and rates, it safe to say you're probably on your way). This is fine; your right about average development wise (as you know girls mature faster than guys) and have nothign to worry about, as long as your "vaginal discharge" was something other than blood or other fluids. If it was puss or something like that, then you'd have an infection!

no it wasnt blood it was just this thick white liquid thingy in my underpants

it could have been a yeast infection.. easily taken care of (go buy monostat). or it could have just been what most people usually call female cum.

If you get your period in a few days, it's normal. It may be just before your period.

Since it's like whitish, if it itches or if you have any itching/irritation, it's probably yeast. Go to Wal-Mart and get some yeast infection cream and use as it says on the package.

If it turns out to be yeast, don't eat as much sugar.

its no infection doesent itch or anything, no yeast its just plain vaginal infection
but i was wondering if it came before periods or something...

Ok... discharge is perfectly normal. I had it for about 4-6 months before my first period, and sometimes in between my period.

i have read somewhere that its normal for a girl to have discharge in the months leading to her first period. so i wouldn't rule that out as a possiblity.

It's normal to have that sticky white liquid, I get it and sometimes it comes after my period.

Once you start discharge usually is a sign that you will be starting. May go on for a while so don't worry, but its different for all girls. Usually your breast will develop a little more before you start but not always.
