Hey, I posted this 8 months ago and I can still back what I said! I mostly listen to metal now, but you can classify that as rock as well, so yeah.
When I wanna listen to something a little softer garage rock, stoner rock, math rock, hard rock and sometimes psychedelic rock are my go-to genres.
When I want something a little harder I prefer metalcore (including deathcore and mathcore), doom metal and death metal. But I pretty much like every kind of metal except nu metal.

Digging further into Genesis' older music has turned me into a huge progressive rock fan. It just sucks that most modern prog bands are comprised of old dudes who won't make any effort to modernize prog rock and really bring it into the 21st century.
