No, urine tests detect chemical and physiological anomalies. Masturbation is neither of these so they will not be able to determine whether you masturbate.

Do not masturbate the night before or the morning of the urine test, sperm shows up as protein in your urine, so technically, yes they can tell :P

I get urine tests every 3 months to test for sugar in urine, as I had 2 positive tests for protein, was told not to jerk the night before or the morning of the test, then tests were negative, so i am sure its right!

I wouldn't jerk right before a physical as it would show up as protein, which is something they look for to test for liver/kidney problems. I did that, but the doctor still passed me and just said it could have been from so much rigorous exercise. Not sure if he was using that as a euphemism, or because I was exercising so hard at the time.

In any case, most intelligent people (especially doctors) assume you masturbate and probably wouldn't even believe you if you told them otherwise.

Possibly the doctor could tell if you had recently ejaculated but not how, i.e. whether it was from masturbation, sex or a wet dream.
