Wait a while, then you should ask her, she likes you. Just give her time to get over her ex

I would say wait awhile or move on, I think waiting for another moderate length of time would be best in this situation, I mean maybe she acted on a moment of whim the last time and know she realizes she wants to be left alone for sometime, I would ask her in the future but make sure its not like a week then you ask her because she will probably still say NO so wait a good while like a few month possibly longer, I cant tell you how long but give her space.

Just this. Don't pressurise her into making an answer soon. Give her time and if she likes you them she'll come round and say yes.

See now that would be not a great idea because if you think about it you try to become complete friends with her then one day you are like "will you go out with me" she will then think the only reason to become friends with her is so he could try again to go out with her.

I judge only from my point of view. It's what I would do if I were you. Can't get inside her head and predict future unfortunately.

the trick is to become closer but not too close, you know ... friends know everything about you for example but with girl it should be more like good relationships but without that friends' familiarity.
