I'm thinking about trolling bus drivers who turn on shitty music. I've got a portable FM transmitter and it works perfect when I'm sitting close to the entrance. But if I'm sitting at the back side of a bus, transmitter can't drown out the station signal and make the radio play my music due to low power. So I googled for a whole day but haven't found anything that would help me. Well, I found one schematic (http://www.sentex.ca/~mec1995/circ/activefm.html) but I'm not sure this will work. Any ideas, how to boost signal from 20mW to 0.5 or 1W?

You probably need to make coil L1 larger -- add more windings for example. R1 needs to be made smaller, as does R3(I'd make this one about 500 ohms). Try that and see if it works.
