Not going to senior prom

How many of you seniors are not going to prom because either

1. you're not interested

and/or

2. no one to go with

That's how I felt originally but then thought it through and was like what else am I really going to do while everyone is there. Plues you can go to Project Prom if your school does that or an after party of some sort.

It's just for the memories, couldn't hurt to go (except financially x_x) just ask a normal friend or just go with a group of people, you don't need an actual date.

nah I'm not interested. and I don't want to spend the money. My older brother went last year with friends, and it cost quite a lot, and I don't want my mom to spend money on something I'm not interested in. Part of me kinda wants to go, but eh not really. also, there's the issue with dresses >_<

maybe if I'm actually ASKED, whether it's a date (0% chance though), or as friends, I will go, but I don't know if that will even happen.

our school has a post-prom...which is kinda stupid...goes from midnight to 5 am. I can't stay up so early...

That's what our was, it was a lock in at Dave and Buster's from 1-6am.

Forgot how big of a deal you ladies and your dresses are lol that's like such a big deal. If you truly don't want to go and don't have the slightest interest, then don't but if there's part of you that wants to go, then go. Don't want to skip it and always question why you never went, no going back in time, plus you can satisfy that small % that wanted to go regardless if you like it or not you at least went.

I guess Senior Prom is the end of year prom you have before you leave high school.

I don't want to go because it basically doesn't interest me. It costs money too, and whats the point in that if i'm not too bothered (I got given a choice. Prom or Premier league football match? Chose football) If it was free i would go, but not paying money

yeah the money is the issue. for us, the tickets cost like $130...why would I go if I'm not going to really have any fun?
