Of course I was really careful before (as any right minded self-harmer would be) but after my melt down, I was put on Anti-depressants and was determined *mentaly unsuitible for public contact* for two weeks. Now once they've finally gotten off my back a little, (and it's summery here) I've had to get ultra sneaky with my cutting. Instead of my wrists (which I miss like h*ll) I've had to surfice with my shoulders and hips, which is no big deal. But then I've had to hide my bandages, alcohol, neosporin, ect. in random places which is uwfully hard to get to sometimes, with two other people in the house. Not to mention I was wearing a thin white shirt (with a tank-top) and my book-bag reopened the cuts on my shoulders *facepalm* and got blood everywhere making it hard to hide. So, I'm just wondering, who else has had to go ultra double o seven with their self-harm?

I dont do those things or get why others do. Why do you do that to yourself?

I'm going to make this as polite as I can
Is it just me or is that a bit of a weird question to be asking here? It's a coping method, used to cope with major issues in one's life which are usually too overwhelming to deal with.
Anyway. I've been like that I guess, anything I could do to hide my cuts & scars. If it weren't for that one night, no one would know about it to this day.

Haha, that's a really good question, but if you really wish to know, I strongly suggest you start a new thread asking why. Most people here would be happy to try to explain, but it's not simply one answer. There's tons of reasons one may self-harm.

This doesn't have anything to do with the OP. This is a help site, and if you don't have anything constructive to say, don't say anything please.
Most people who self harm will go to extraordinary measures to hide their cuts/scars. But I would suggest that you stop hiding it from everyone. From what you've said, I'm gathering that they've found out before. If people are willing to help you, let them. I know it's hard to decide to stop and it's hard to talk about it, but you can't self harm forever. Please tell them that you're still hurting yourself, chances are they'll find out eventually anyway.
Also, I noticed that you used the term "self harmer." I don't know if it's just me, but I really don't like that. Don't define yourself by the fact that you hurt yourself a coping mechanism, it makes it seem like that's all you are.
